RH Travel Board Minutes          11/13/08 Final Draft

 Overview of Try-outs

                Boys Ed Muoio proposed the following:

                U11 - 1 team                         

                U12 - Possible team  

          (Needs further recruitment from In-House League, Scottsville, Brighton)

                        Ed M. will notify Scottsville players to come to BSZ 11/22 for “look-see”

U13 - 1 team                         

                U14 - 1 team

                U15 - 1 team         

                No team at either U16 or U 17 age groups (due to lack of players)             

                Girls 

                U12 – 2 teams

    U13

    U14 - 2 teams

                U15 - 1 team

                U17 - 1 team

 U14 coaches and Girls Director of Coaching to meet 11/14 to discuss rosters of both U14 teams

All agreed there would be two teams based on number of girls trying out. (33)

 *TBD Coach of U14B Team

           Statement made that anyone with a Risk Management Pass could supervise the team from the sidelines with the possibility of Board Members taking turns doing this.

Motion to accept these teams and coaches for the 2009 season:

8- yea, 2- nay  (due to belief that U14 teams should remain as they were during the 2008 season.)

Motion Passed

Board will send out letters to all players who attended try-outs explaining designation:  “Accepted as team player” and what team there were placed on, “Club Player” - may need more time to develop skills to play at the travel level, or “Not accepted into the travel program”.  Players will respond to coach with their acceptance or regrets.

Coaches to get in touch with Robbin Ciavaglia to set up field time

Skill Camp - 11/22/08- Brighton Sports Zone -Time 5:30-7:30
