R-H INVITATIONAL

On June 7th &8th the R-H Falcons boys U/12 hosted a weekend of friendly cup games.
Teams from; Spencerport, Pittsford, Irondequoit and Greece came to Martin Rd. and played 3 or 4 games each.  Players from all teams earned cool medals for participation.

On Sunday, the R-H girls U/11 played a friendly match vs. the R-H girls U/12.  At noon on Sunday we had a special guest arrive at the games.  "Rex", the Rhino's mascot came out and rooted for our teams and even posed for pictures.  The players really enjoyed that.

This was followed by a coed game made up from any of the boys and girls from the U/12 teams and younger that were there and wanted to play.  The coaches and parents tried to show off their soccer skills as well but that game didn't last very long.  (we might be a little past our prime)

The whole weekend wrapped up with a delicious chicken barbecue in the pavilion.  This weekend was a smashing success.  Our young players had a blast.

The parents and coaches from the other towns complemented us constantly on our Martin Rd. facility.  The concession stand did very well during this event.  All coaches, parents, referees and any other volunteers should know what a great job they did and how much the kids enjoyed it.  The club, which is all of us, should really be proud of the direction R-H Soccer is moving.

CHICKEN BARBEQUE

We want to thank all of you who were able to attend the first chicken barbeque at Martin Road.  Even though it was a hot and windy day we had 100 people attend.  A special thanks goes out to Kurt Yandle for cooking and catering the event. We hope to have more events like this during the season.  Hope to see all of you there.  Thanks again to everyone who made this event successful.
